In response to many of our Zombie Experience fans wanting a true survival event, last week a new zombie experience was released, the Nottingham Forest Zombie Experience! It wasn’t a certain thing, that even the most enthusiastic of zombie fans would be ready to handle a massive six hour long event, however it seems that there are in fact a lot of game folk out there! Within less than a week of the one time event (for 2018 at least) being released 80% of tickets have been sold and its not even on until November. With such massive interest being shown, we think its very likely now that another such limited availability event will have to be scheduled for 2019 as well.
So what is so special about this Nottingham Forest Zombie event? For one thing it is almost twice the duration of the longest zombie experience we’ve ever offered. At an amazing six hours in duration and starting at 8pm this is going to be a night you are not going to forget! Six hours of terror and survival in a cold, dark forest and you won’t only be fighting the walking dead. You will be fighting zombies, fighting the elements, fighting time and not all of the living also battling for their lives will be friendly! You will need to be fit and have a bit of basic camping knowledge. In this particular part of Nottingham Forest there is also a variety of features that will sometimes make your mission easier and sometimes harder, with tanks, bridges, towers and trenches all part of your surrounds.
On arrival all players will be gathered together and then split into factions, there is no guarantee that you will be with your friends either and for this reason stag, hen and corporate bookings are not allowed. This will be your fight for survival and it is best to remember that in this situation unless your friendships are strategically advantageous its best not to be too sentimental! Once everyone has been assigned their teams, each group will be given a map and will need to use it to locate their base camp deep in the Forest of Nottingham and begin setting up its defenses just with the supplies in your back pack, what you can find in the forest and what you can negotiate or trade for. And some of the things you can trade for will be doozies! Like the smoke grenades that come with the optional VIP Zombie Survival Kit that can be purchased when you book in!
At time of writing there are now only 8 places left in this ultimate Zombie Experience located in Nottingham Forest so it might be too late by the time you read this for you to take part.
