FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Do I need to be fit to do a Zombie Experience?
These events are physical in nature and therefore require that participants all have a reasonable level of fitness. That said, people of all shapes, sizes and ages do participate. If things get too tough there are generally staff available to assist or you can sit out of parts of the event. The zombies may want to kill you, but we don’t! Any underlying medical conditions must be discussed with the reservations staff when booking.
Zombie Experiences involves live action horror and gore and are therefore not suitable for anyone with a nervous disposition or heart condition.
If you are pregnant then I am afraid we cannot let you play. If you have mild or moderate asthma, you need to let reservations staff know as special and smoke effects may have an impact.
Q. I have a medical condition or limitation, can I still take part?
Whilst we aim to ensure everyone has an opportunity to experience the zombie apocalypse sometimes it’s not always possible. If in doubt, please contact us specifying your condition and the event that you wish to attend to find out whether you can be safely accommodated at that particular venue.
Q. Any chance of a discount?
The London, York and Droitwich events do not offer a discount. Other Zombie Experiences across the country do however offer group discounts for groups of 10+ people. See their individual sales/booking pages for details.
Q. Why is there is so much variation in prices across different venues?
There are a lot of factors that contribute to the final price of a Zombie Experience. As you can imagine property costs can be a lot different depending on location, square foot of the venue, and facilities available, also some Zombie Experiences run with a maximum of 10 participants, others with a maximum of 36. It is these kinds of things that lead to the variations in prices. One thing we can say though is on the whole our customers generally come away from an event feeling like they definitely got enough bang for their bucks, so we are confident that the prices of the various events match the experience provided! Last but not least, Zombie Experiences sells zombie events from a range of Zombie Experience providers and thus the commercial choices of different events teams can also affect pricing choices.
Q. Can I pay on the day?
No. You must pay for your event in advance before your places are reserved. There is good reason for this too as many Zombie Experience events sell out weeks and even months in advance.
Q. I have my own airsoft/paintball/anti-zombie warfare weaponry, can I use it?
No each venue has the necessary equipment set up for your use for each event so there is no need to bring your own weapons. This ensures everyone is playing on an even footing and is also necessary to ensure health and safety standards are met.
Q. I don't know how to use airsoft/paintball/other zombie warfare weapons, can I still enjoy the experience?
Yes, absolutely! All zombie experience story line’s ensure that there is a an opportunity for participants to be shown how to use the relevant weapons on the day.
Q. Can I use my phone during the event?
No dude, it’s the apocalypse!
Q. What if I am late for my Zombie Experience?
If you are late, you run the risk of not being able to join the event. This is for the safety of you and others.
Q. Is there a minimum age requirement for these events?
Yes, please see our listing HERE, for all of the age requirements across our venues.
Q. Can I reserve spaces without paying and then purchase my vouchers in a few days time?
As you can imagine, our zombies are high in demand; places can sell out weeks and even months in advance, so unfortunately we’re unable to offer reserving places at this time.
Q. I have purchased my vouchers but its going to take a few days before I can book in as my voucher details are being sent out to me, can I reserve spaces?
If you can provide proof of purchase we will do our very best. We do recommend purchasing and booking directly via our secure bookings pages where possible to help avoid any risks of missing out. If you buy a gift voucher via our direct booking pages these will be sent out to you immediately. Be sure to keep an eye on the calendars of available events though because if the voucher recipient does not select an event to book into weeks or even months in advance they could miss out.
Q: How many people do I need to book in, in order to participate?
You can book any of our Zombie Experiences as a single person, a couple, or in small or large groups (depending on maximum capacities and spaces available).
